Agisanang Scuff is a highly respected journalist and community development advocate from Taung, North West. With over eight years of experience in the media industry, he has used radio journalism as a transformative tool to educate, empower, and inspire his community—especially in underserved rural areas.
Agisanang began his media career at VaaltarFM, where he served as a news reporter, presenter, and later Head of News. His tenure was marked by a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of ordinary people, shedding light on pressing issues like poverty, service delivery, and public health. His exceptional communication skills and integrity earned him admiration across the province.
While working with The News Pulse, he served as a News Editor and helped train new recruits in reporting, public participation, and voter education—emphasizing media’s role in democracy. His passion for health reporting led to a weekly educational segment focused on Tuberculosis (TB) and HIV/AIDS, where he partnered with local doctors to break down complex health information for the public.
In recognition of his work, Agisanang won a National Community Radio Award for a radio documentary highlighting the connection between TB and poverty. His stories have not only raised awareness but also driven measurable community change.
He has served on local municipality communicators’ forums and is known for hosting public dialogues that foster civic involvement and accountability.
