Clarah “Queen” Malinda is the Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer of Ndzilo Fire Solutions, a pioneering South African company using technology and community engagement to prevent and manage wildfires. As an accounting graduate from the University of Johannesburg, Queen merges sharp financial strategy with operational excellence — all in service of community resilience and environmental safety.

She is a recognized voice in innovation storytelling, frequently sharing her journey across media platforms and tech forums, championing climate solutions, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. Queen is a Red Bull Basement South Africa Winner and represented South Africa as a Top 40 Global Finalist at the Red Bull Global Finals in Japan — showcasing Ndzilo’s impact-driven fire detection technology to a worldwide audience.

Named a Nedbank YouthX Top 3 Award Winner, Queen has emerged as one of the country’s leading young social entrepreneurs. Through Ndzilo, she has spearheaded training programs, awareness campaigns, and digital storytelling tools that educate rural and vulnerable communities on wildfire risks — often in areas underserved by traditional media and public infrastructure.
