Liziwe Nompumza is a 27-year-old admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and the founder of LA Nompumza Attorneys, a Johannesburg-based law firm built on the mission of delivering accessible, affordable, and quality legal services to all South Africans — especially those historically underserved by the legal system.
Armed with a BA in Law (2018) and LLB (2020) from the University of Johannesburg, Liziwe completed her articles in Midrand, gaining hands-on experience in commercial and civil litigation, family law, administrative law, labour law, and more. She has confidently appeared in Magistrate Court, the CCMA, and conducted internal disciplinary hearings, developing a solid reputation for legal drafting, strategic negotiation, and organisational acumen.
Liziwe’s commitment to empowerment extends beyond law. She is the founder of Nompumza Lighthouse Foundation, which provides mentorship and support to youth, and she runs Queendom Hair and Beauty, a wellness brand promoting self-love and financial independence.
Her leadership has been recognised by global and local institutions: she is a graduate of the U.S. Government’s Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) and the International Women’s Forum YLC-IDEAL Program. In 2024, she was selected among The Feature Magazine’s 50 Most Memorable Women.
With her feet in both corporate law and grassroots upliftment, Liziwe Nompumza is more than a businesswoman — she’s a force for justice, innovation, and transformation.
