Nonkululeko Mlambo is a dynamic political leader, activist, and entrepreneur redefining youth participation in South Africa’s democratic space. As the Secretary-General of Arise South Africa’s Johannesburg Region, she stands at the forefront of a new generation of political changemakers — determined, outspoken, and committed to justice.

Her political journey began as a volunteer in the newly formed Arise South Africa party, where her tireless ground work, strategic thinking, and people-first leadership quickly elevated her through the ranks. From Treasurer of the Communications Committee to the National Executive Committee, and ultimately elected as Secretary-General, Nonkululeko is shaping strategy, policy, and reform in a space often dominated by older voices.

In 2024, she stood as a parliamentary candidate on the Gauteng election list, campaigning for inclusivity, innovation, and economic revival through 4IR leadership. During her campaign, she focused on youth voter education, civic engagement, and rallying South Africans to reclaim their power at the polls.

Her advocacy extends into protest action, social media engagement, and political dialogues — including debates and panels with members of the EFF, DA, ActionSA, and others. She’s led outreach in churches, universities, and communities, inspiring hope and reminding young South Africans of their democratic agency.

Whether in the streets, in the boardroom, or on SABC News, Nonkululeko Mlambo embodies bold, grassroots-driven leadership. Her voice cuts through apathy — calling not just for reform, but for revolutionized governance, led by the people.
