Paul Junior Malinda is an award-winning social entrepreneur and operations strategist dedicated to advancing wildfire prevention and sustainable development in South Africa. As the Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer of Ndzilo Fire Solutions, Paul merges innovation, finance, and public service to protect both people and the planet.
With an accounting degree from the University of Johannesburg, Paul applies financial precision to operational excellence—ensuring that his fire safety company remains scalable, sustainable, and impact-driven. Under his leadership, Ndzilo Fire Solutions has developed cutting-edge fire detection and suppression systems while also training community members to mitigate wildfire risks in high-vulnerability zones.
Paul’s work has earned him national and global recognition. He is a Nedbank YouthX Top 3 Winner, Red Bull Basement South Africa Winner, and one of the Top 40 Red Bull Basement Global Finalists—representing South Africa on an international innovation stage in Japan.
Beyond the tech, Paul is deeply committed to people. He has led capacity-building programs, engaged in community-based fire readiness campaigns, and designed operational systems that prioritize both safety and employment.
