Sthembele Njobo

Sthembele Njobo, widely known as Naugh Naugh, is a visionary content creator and media entrepreneur empowering township voices through bold storytelling and digital innovation. As the founder of Naugh Media Communications, Njobo built a multimedia platform that combines photography, podcasting, video production, and live-streaming to uplift unheard stories — all from the heart of Ekurhuleni, Gauteng.

Armed with a degree in Public Relations Management from UNISA, Njobo’s creative journey began as a rapper and evolved into a mission-driven business after facing unemployment. In 2015, he launched Naugh Media with one goal: to give young people from the township a digital voice — owned, run, and created by them.

The company has since delivered standout work in:

• Podcast and YouTube content production

• Event coverage and streaming

• Community-based animation for social change

• Youth mentorship in media and storytelling

What sets Njobo apart is his commitment to grassroots impact. He trains and collaborates with emerging creatives, provides free exposure to township-based businesses, and uses media as a tool for both economic and emotional liberation.

Looking ahead, Njobo is scaling into drone videography, digital media training programs, and expanding access to tech for content creation in underserved areas.

From behind the lens to behind the mic, Sthembele Njobo is building a black-owned media legacy — rooted in authenticity, innovation, and pride.
