Thabang Kenneth Majoro is a committed public servant, strategist, and community development practitioner with the Department of Social Development in the Free State Province. His work in the Lejweleputswa District reflects a dynamic approach to local governance — one that puts people, not processes, at the centre.
With qualifications in Public Administration, Community Development, and General Management (GIBS), Thabang has designed and implemented high-impact programs addressing everything from youth development to NPO compliance, resource mobilization, and economic empowerment.
Key milestones include:
• Youth Dialogue (Wesselsbron): Mobilized over 150 young people and partnered with NYDA, SEDA, Goldfields TVET College, and Wits RHI to connect youth with government support systems.
• Women’s Dialogue (Bothaville): Engaged 120 women in GBV awareness and economic inclusion initiatives.
• Financial Literacy Drive: Reached over 850 people across 17 towns with budgeting and banking education, in partnership with Nedbank.
• SMME & NPO Compliance Training: Supported 75 organizations with governance and regulatory support.
• Knowledge Harvesting Dialogue: Connected 35 retired professionals with youth to preserve intergenerational skills and wisdom.
Thabang also serves as a Public Servants Association Shop Steward and is an Executive Committee Member of SAIBPP Young Professionals, where he leads professional development programs for the next generation of property and policy leaders.
With every initiative, Thabang Majoro is bridging the gap between government policy and real community transformation — proving that excellence in governance starts at the ground level.
