Mlungisi Jack Msibi is a trailblazer in adaptive sport, youth development, and social enterprise. As founder of Corinthians Africa, Jack has grown a grassroots movement in Johannesburg South from a simple street soccer crew to a full-fledged community institution — empowering over 3,000 individuals per month through football, cricket, netball, STEM innovation, recycling, farming, and employment projects.

In 2024, Jack made history as South Africa’s first national blind football coach, leading the team to compete at the BRICS International Blind Football Tournament in Russia. Against all odds — with minimal resources and a pioneering spirit — his team earned Coach of the Tournament, Team of the Tournament, and Player of the Tournament accolades, scoring goals on the international stage in just their second match.

Jack is now spearheading the creation of South Africa’s first national blind soccer league, in partnership with SAFA and Blind SA, with a vision to grow into provincial, national, and gender-inclusive structures. His innovative plan includes training referees and coaches, launching a multipurpose court for wheelchair sports, and running corporate team-building sessions with visually impaired athletes — bridging inclusion and economy.

Under Jack’s leadership, Corinthians has also launched Ward 57’s first STEM Centre and drone surveillance program, working with JMPD to tackle crime while introducing township youth to future tech.

Through every whistle, workshop, and win, Mlungisi Jack Msibi proves that sport is not just a game — it’s a revolution.
